02 Wireless & ‘Blood don’t let me get ol’skool’

Buzzed about playing 02 Wireless. It’s a big gig, legends have played here in Hyde Park, and also a legend is playing on this very day. None other than JayZ aka Jigga aka Hov aka Shawn Carter!

Arriving at a festival is always hectic, having to sort out passes, next by loading all the music gear out to the stage, then going back to the dressing room. However our crew always continues to stay bubbling!

Before really settling down and relaxing back at the dressing room, I had to go and do some promo here and there. While bowling around I saw and bumped into lots of familiar faces, for example I managed to catch Wiley, and congratulate him on his recent success with the single ‘Wearing My Rolex’. Then after, I bumped into ‘Rickie&Melvin’ from Kiss 100, to do a quick on the spot interview for their show, which was a laugh. Melvin sorry for giving you air on that bro!

Finally on the way heading back to the dressing room, I saw ‘Dizzie Rascal’, who I have always wanted to catch up with, because we are from the same area and know so many of the same people, but basically our meeting went something like this…

lol! Anyway, so after a phenomenal day performing to a wicked crowd, and then watching JayZ. The next day, early afternoon I received a call Dizzie. He personally wants me to open up for him at the Itunes festival this sunday at KoKo! So he did know who I was! Safe Dizzie.
